Since some of you didn't go for the briefing.
This is a brief summary of the briefing.
If I missed out anything, just add on okay. :)
- The assignment workload chart is/will be uploaded on OLE, so please check and plan your time properly to avoid the usual shit happening.
- The new program/software we'll be using is called "Maya" (Maia? idk, correct if sala), so get it and prepare for lessons by playing around with it or stuff. (It's for 3D.)
- There is still programming, (The Database lesson..) but no CMaths. (Duh from the timetable)
- You are strongly recommended to participate actively in school/course events and activities, competitions and talks, and whatnot so as to build up a good and nice portfolio, prolly giving you an advantage in the future.
- Research for your work early too, so that you won't go to class like a lost sheep. :)
- After the first semester, there is Adobe Certification, the 3 applications are Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash, please be skilled in these apps. It is an MCQ test, must pass!
- The overseas CDS on Cambodia for next semester(?), you are kinda recommended to take it as it will ~change your life. (let's go together y/n?)
- We should also help each other in our work so that we can graduate together. :)
- & then there's the IMI blog which we all know already, the link is above the tagboard in case anyone got problems locating it.
Eto.. that's all I can remember.
Plus this time round, I think our subjects are heavily Flash-based.
Then there's this subject where we're learning video things.
So, dudes with experience, mild or professionals, do help out! :)
Geeks unite in junior year, let's work hard together!
Oh yar, look out for announcements for JUNIORS now, instead of FRESHMAN.
That is all, I reckon.
